In addition to his role as non-executive chairman of Broadgate, Michael is also chairman and senior partner of Maclay Murray & Spens (MMS), Scotland's largest commercial law firm and in the top 50 in the UK. He is currently Chair-Emeritus of Lex Mundi, the world's leading association of independent law firms and is also Chairman and Director of Lex Mundi’s Pro-Bono Foundation. Michael is a Non-Executive Member of the Scottish Amicable Board as established by The Prudential Assurance Company Limited and is also a member of the International Advisory Board for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region of the Emory University of Atlanta.
