Background
Dow Jones STOXX was formed in 1997 and calculates and distributes equity indices for Europe as a region. It is a joint venture between Dow Jones and the German and Swiss stock exchanges.
Brief
Dow Jones STOXX needed to raise awareness of its indices in the UK market compared to long established rivals.
What we did
Proactive media relations campaign creating the story "Battle of the Benchmarks".
Apart from creating coverage of new STOXX products and inclusion in features on equity indices, a principal tactic of the campaign has been the placing of articles by investment analysts to highlight the advantages of the STOXX family of indices to the UK market.
Results
Widespread coverage has helped Dow Jones STOXX win a reputation as the market leader among the index providers. |
